Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Wemoda Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Wemoda," "we," "us") governing your use of the Conceptra mobile application, websites, and related services (the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
By downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Users under 18 must use the Service under supervision of a parent, guardian, or authorised school, with consent as required by law and our Privacy Policy.
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts to abuse trials, referrals, or promotions.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
2. Description of the Service
Conceptra provides curriculum-aligned practice, AI-assisted question generation, progress tracking, and related educational tools for Indian school boards. The Service is for learning support only and does not replace formal schooling, professional tutoring, or examination guarantees.
3. Subscriptions, free trials, and billing
3.1 Plans and pricing
Paid features require an active subscription or purchase as shown in the app at the time of checkout. Prices, plan names, duration (e.g. monthly or annual), and included features are displayed before you pay.
3.2 Free trials
Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial length and eligibility are shown in the app.
3.3 Payment methods
- Google Play / Apple App Store: Purchases made through the store are billed by Google or Apple under their terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Play Store or App Store account settings.
- Razorpay (website or in-app where enabled): Payments processed by Razorpay are subject to Razorpay's terms and applicable Indian payment rules.
3.4 Auto-renewal
Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You will be charged through the same payment channel you used to subscribe.
3.5 Cancellation
You may cancel renewal at any time before the next billing date via Google Play subscriptions, Apple subscription settings, or in-app account/subscription management where available. Cancellation stops future charges; access generally continues until the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated.

4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of school or platform rules;
- share account credentials, cheat on assessments where prohibited, or scrape or reverse-engineer the app;
- upload harmful, abusive, or infringing content;
- interfere with servers, circumvent paywalls, or use bots or automated tools without permission;
- misrepresent age, identity, or parental authority.
5. Educational and AI content disclaimer
Questions, explanations, and AI-generated content may contain errors. You should verify important facts with teachers or official materials. We do not guarantee exam results, grades, or admission outcomes.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and proprietary content, is owned by Wemoda or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal or authorised institutional educational use. You retain rights in content you submit; you grant us a licence to use that content to operate and improve the Service.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates third-party services (e.g. Firebase, Google, Apple, Razorpay, OpenAI). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, including for children and parents. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Account deletion
You may delete your account through in-app settings or by contacting info@wemoda.in. Deletion is subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention requirements. Store subscriptions must also be cancelled separately in Google Play or Apple settings if applicable.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WEMODA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 5,000.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Wemoda harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
13. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated date; where required, we will provide additional notice in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel subscriptions.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
15. Apple App Store (iOS)
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Wemoda, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- In the event of failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property infringement.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a beneficiary.
- You must comply with applicable App Store terms of service.
16. Google Play (Android)
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, you also agree to applicable Google Play Terms of Service and Google policies. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service.
